After building a beechwood stepladder on commission for a client in Tilburg, I wanted to make another, fancier stepladder, with broader treads and taking 2 mm of thickness from all components to make it slightly less heavy. I trimmed the treads and top with leftover oak scraps from the workshop, and was very, very happy with the milk paint and Osmo hardwax finish combo. The feet of this stool are padded with anti-slip rubber.
